Raleigh, North Carolina, May 1, 2017 / PRNewswire/ -- HQ Raleigh has teamed up with the Flatiron Law Group and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) to host a venture themed event on Friday, May 5th, 2017 featuring four leading venture capital funds from the New York City and Boston areas: Edison Partners, Lattice Ventures, Rubicon Venture Capital and IoT Capital Partners. “As the Triangle strives to attract more investment to our area, this represents a great opportunity,” says Christopher Gergen, co-founder of HQ Raleigh. “Through an immersive 24 hours, we will give the investors an overview of the RTP market and introduce them to some of the best start-ups in the area.”
The trip will be capped off by a venture panel at HQ Raleigh at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 5th which is open to the public where the investors will discuss their investment philosophies, the fundraising process generally and the dos and don’ts of raising capital from venture capitalists. After the panel, there will be audience Q&A.
